Gulf Conference on Sustainable Built Environment

This multidisciplinary conference aims to provide a unique forum to facilitate exchange of knowledge among civil infrastructure professionals, architects, materials Scientists, engineers, urban planners, policy and building code makers, government officials, researchers and academicians in the area of sustainability of the existing built environment and sustainable designs for new building and urban systems in the Gulf region.

We are planning to publish the conference presented papers in a proceeding book published by Springer. The submitted full manuscript will be reviewed and, if accepted, will be published in a book by Springer. Each accepted manuscript can be cited separately.

The conference organizer will help in issuing a visa, if required, to enter Kuwait. Please visit the following website to know whether you can get a visa upon arrival to Kuwait Airport or you need to obtain it prior traveling to Kuwait.

Kuwait is 3 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT +3).

Business hours for banks are generally from 08:00 to 14:00 on weekdays only. Banks are closed on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays. ATMs are widely available.

The currency of Kuwait is the Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD), which is equal to 1000 fils. There are banknotes based on 20, 10, 5, 1 dinar and 500 and 250 fils and coins of 100, 50, 20, 10, and 5 fils.
